Long overdue post about uni and stuff

Mathematics (the real mathematics and statistics B, not mathematics NEW) - A
Physics - B
Politics - A
General Studies - A
Pure Mathematics - B

Going to:
St Andrews, up in Scotland, so MM0RHI here I come!

Semester dates:
Martinmas: 26th September - 20th January (Christmas Vac 17th December - 4th Jan)
Candlemas: 6th February - 26th May (Easter Vac 25th March - 9th April)

Which roughly works out at 166 days (near enough 24 weeks) holiday a year, + time I don't have to be there, but I'm meant to be doing stuff (Reading and Revision weeks), so I can feel some serious slacking coming on in those weeks :)

Should be fun, though I have to go find accomodation, and other important stuff. Freshers week starts 18th September.

Didn't get into Durham, but meh

and so it should...

and so it should... half of laser's is 'old-type' anyway!
[Breathes a sigh of relief that the exam board *did* allow the fiddle we pulled off.]

If you really wanted a contest, my A-Level (not further) had 3x3 matrices, complex numbers, sum/product of roots, general solutions to cubics...
My further maths A-level is probably what happens at uni these days!

Enough of the "standards are falling" rubbish. You've both worked hard for those grades. (Naturally, you couldn't have done it without the help and support of your excellent teachers though!)

Look forward to working M0RHI/P and 2E0NTW/P soon. Enjoy!
